thats supposely a kit that fixes the RRoD if ur xbox is out of warranty and u dont mind taking it apart. From what i understand it either replaces or alters the heat sink.

It's not 100% guranteed since there could be multiple problems for the RRoD but it might be worth it if u dont want to pay MS $100+ to fix it.

everyones xbox is under warranty for the rrod no matter what. just send it in. if u try to fix it yourself and u fail, u may void your warranty. im on my 3rd xbox btw.

besides its absolutely free to send it in, it takes a month before you get it back.

Exactly, the RRoD warranty is now 3 years, the 360 hasn't even been out for 3 years, it is still under warranty.

360s wont be out of warr. on the 3red lights until nov of this year, that is when the first launch gen. was, some people will have xbox's that have a birth date of like feb of launch year but you could not buy them until sept or nov I can't remember. so everybodys good till sept or nov.
