^^^that would **** nutt, because mine would have gone directly to the trash:laugh:my bad...I did read it wrong. I didn't see e-mail in the first line. Are you sure its not going into your spam folder or something like that?
yeah I'm sure. I haven't received shit from them at all, not even a confirmation email saying that they got my phone call(s).my bad...I did read it wrong. I didn't see e-mail in the first line. Are you sure its not going into your spam folder or something like that?
lucky @$$...mine was a ***** because I would have fixed it myself otherwiseI know it's in my console because it messes up without my harddrive in it, and my power brick doesn't change colors.
i'd definitely get the talismoon whisper fan, supposedly it's quieter and pushes way more airthe second hand unit i bought and fixed is still working, though it's only been a week since it's been re-repaired. i have noticed that the heat on the old version 360's is hotter than the elites. so now i'm waiting on a 40mm computer case fan to be used as a push fan to help keep it even cooler. hopefully the 360 will last long as i'm soon to sell it.
DPI'd rather do a permanent fix then some cheap trick to let me play half a game of madden with friends.
tRUE, I did the trick for a week and it works but it gets old when you are playin online COD4 and have to drop off the team.I'd rather do a permanent fix then some cheap trick to let me play half a game of madden with friends.
yeah but this 360 i'm trying not to put too much money into it since it's not going to be mine. adding a 40mm fan to push air into the heatsinks will help reduce the heat from it very well. i will also be "Channeling" the air so it flows directly to the heat sinks instead of getting lost into the motherboard. it will also have a speed control knob to reduce the speed and noise instead of it at a constant 12v.i'd definitely get the talismoon whisper fan, supposedly it's quieter and pushes way more air
I'm guessing it would cause more damage because when it cools the connection would weaken even more?yeah but this 360 i'm trying not to put too much money into it since it's not going to be mine. adding a 40mm fan to push air into the heatsinks will help reduce the heat from it very well. i will also be "Channeling" the air so it flows directly to the heat sinks instead of getting lost into the motherboard. it will also have a speed control knob to reduce the speed and noise instead of it at a constant 12v.
edit: and don't do the twel trick. it will work for a short time but it's just going to cause more damage.
