my bad...I did read it wrong. I didn't see e-mail in the first line. Are you sure its not going into your spam folder or something like that?

yeah I'm sure. I haven't received shit from them at all, not even a confirmation email saying that they got my phone call(s).

the second hand unit i bought and fixed is still working, though it's only been a week since it's been re-repaired. i have noticed that the heat on the old version 360's is hotter than the elites. so now i'm waiting on a 40mm computer case fan to be used as a push fan to help keep it even cooler. hopefully the 360 will last long as i'm soon to sell it.

i'd definitely get the talismoon whisper fan, supposedly it's quieter and pushes way more air

yeah but this 360 i'm trying not to put too much money into it since it's not going to be mine. adding a 40mm fan to push air into the heatsinks will help reduce the heat from it very well. i will also be "Channeling" the air so it flows directly to the heat sinks instead of getting lost into the motherboard. it will also have a speed control knob to reduce the speed and noise instead of it at a constant 12v.

edit: and don't do the twel trick. it will work for a short time but it's just going to cause more damage.

I'm guessing it would cause more damage because when it cools the connection would weaken even more?

Anyway, It's been about 51 hours now. No email for shipping. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

They are open from 8AM to 10PM here I believe...Much longer then average business days.
