OK guys, for those of you who sent in a xbox, how long did it take them to email you a shipping label?

I called them Friday night, and got all my information squared away. They told me 24-48 hours maximum to get a shipping label sent to me email. Well, 2 1/2 days go by (Friday to Sat, Sat to Sun, Sun to Monday @ noontime) no shipping label. I call again, same 24-48 hours, new shipping label, new number, ok.

It's been 48 hours AGAIN, and once AGAIN I have no shipping label from these yayhoo's.

How long did it take for them to send you a shipping label? I really don't want to call them again and have to go through that shit all over again and then not get a shipping label again.

They probably mean 24-48 business hours, so technically your time did not start until Monday morning?
Just a guess
no I specifically asked her, I said (on friday) "in two days time i will have my shipping label?" "correct, you will have it in less then 48 hours".

Regardless of "business hours" or not, I called them Monday as well, meaning I should have one today, but i don't.

they probably meant 24-48 business hours..lol. Can't they just e-mail you one?
thanks for your bad advice. Next time lets read the post. Thanks.

they just sent me a rma kit that had the box and labels.

they don't send boxes anymore.

if you have the three red lights on its fast and easy to fix. My xbox died, but I had bought it used on craigslist. Didnt think I could send it in. You can find the fix videos on youtube. But all you do is take it apart, remove the heatsinks, clean off the old thermal compound, put on new compound and put it back together. Took me longer to find a place to buy the thermal compound them anything. Now it works great. I never did anything like that before. either way you go good luck.

yeah I know about the x-clamp fix, but It voids my warranty. I'd rather have them fix it then me, even though I think I can do it quite easily. But since they refuse to give me a shipping label, I'm starting to think their is no alternative but to doing it my way.

go diaf *******
hey it's not my fault you couldn't read my post. Don't try and give advice when you wont even read what i said.

mine is the GPU thing that most people have. The video freezes and the audio sends out this huge scratch sound for a second and it looks like a checkerboard on my TV with static in half of the boxes.

I must have been hella lucky. Mine still works.
It has a very high success rate if you do it right. I was reading on this forum 1,000 people had did it and about 900 of them fixed it without any issues.
