XBOX...PS2...DVD clean hidden install

i got a ford explorer...the pioneer screen is on the way...im using the xbox instead of buying a dvd player...where do you guys put xbox...and how do you hide the wires...if you use a dvd player where do you install it...they should make center console dash kits... :boobies:

Make your own mounts of some sort, put it under your seat maybe? I think a lot of people are doing that, or you could put in the turnk/hatc area, but its a pain in the azz to get out and chage dvds and games

fiberglass glove box.

cut a tiny slit for the ejecting cd tray, and re-locate the on\off and cd rom buttons. stealth baby.

everyone before me has the right idea, an xbox is very easy to take apart and uses standard computer cables, relocate the power buttons and use a standard ide cable extender to relocate the dvd drive and yur set, glass in the dvd drive somewhere and it'll look sweet

Just mount it under the seat. But if you are going for stealth and pure sweetness, make a fiberglass glove compartment and put er in there.

sorta off topic, but...what the hell was sony thinking when they gave the slim PS2 a lid opening cd drive rather than the slot one. it would've been so perfect for car audio if they had just done that.

yea but the lid would be sweet if you flush mounted it on your dash and had the flap open that way!!. than get the controller extensions.
