Xbox Live Headset?

Hello all. I come here to ask if there is a better headset for xbox live then the stock one.

I checked on ebay but I need opinions from those who have upgraded.

What size is the jack in the adapter that is connected to the controller then to the headset? Could I purchase my own headset? Anybody know that jack size?

i think you could purchase any old one and plug it in there, like to a cell phone, or a home phone

i have the halo 2 headset, but it was 50$, but got it for xmas. run to walmart and get one with 2.5 mm plug

yeah, any cellphone headset and all that stuff works fine. same shit.

that halo2 one is nice, but its 50bucks....

I think your question was, where do you plug in the headset? Its on the Xbox Live set that plugs into one of the slots on top of the controller

ya you have to get an adapter that plugs into the top slot on the controller

I have that wireless one from Logitec, or whatever.

It's cool but you have to charge it.

And yeah, you can use cell phone headsets.
