Xbox 360: RoL/RRoD Poll

Got home from school, bought the bonus pack for crackdown, started downloading... got to 81% and got rrod'd. Xbox has been screwy lately, so it finally kicked the bucket. Put in an order and box will be on its way shortly... hoping for a month or less turnaround, heard some people say it only took 2 weeks for them...

Who here has gotten it, how many xbox's have you been through, and how long did it take to get yours back?

I never got the RROD. But my xbox has problems. This is my first xbox. Ive gotten the 2 and 4 rings, but never the 3.

4 rings just means your A/V cables arent hooked up right (correct?)

I had one with the RROD and it took like 3 weeks to get back. It was a launch system so I expected it

yeah. same here. it's the xbox i traded.... jcee i believe for a lonnnnnng time ago for some subs and an amp... actually was my first transaction on here.

never had any problems then about 2 months ago i got the 3 lights... restarted it and worked great..... about a week ago it started freezing up then it ****ed up a gamesave and i had to format hard drive (which sucked, had TONS of saves i really didnt wanna lose) but it would get a disc read error on almost every game..... so long story short, it started freezing a lot, then for the past 3 days its worked just fine.. started like normal and pow. gone lol.

i have repaired atleast 75 rrod boxes locally... including two of my own

yeah i've seen the right way to fix it. and i'm VERY technologically oriented... thats no prob... but i just figure with the way xbox's **** up so bad all the time, i'd rather just let microsoft deal with their own shit. I'm hoping to just get a new unit out of it, but if not hopefully it'll at least work.

I've had TWO RRoD consoles...
