so the only difference is the color, the HDMI (which, without going to 1080p is not a neccisary upgrade, makes it easier to connect, but serves no actual function...), and the hard drive?
seems to me like they would AT LEAST have put the HD DVD drive internally, and then made use of the added HDMI cable upgrade. then they could also start using a higher resolution format for their games to be able to keep up with the PS3 whenever sony decides to tap into its 1080p capabilities.
i do find this interesting though... sony has 1080p capabilities, but has no way to output into 1080p (limiting it to 1080i). and meanwhile, microsoft is putting output capabilities up to 1080p, but limiting its processing to 1080i :lol:
