it dosent say but i dought it will be cheaper. if its the same price as the pro it be a good deal compared to the ps3.

It's supposed to come out in limited supplies in the black package and will cost 480, then it is supposed to be pt in place of the premium system in the fall. here is more info

well the g/f's sister may have damaged my 360 last night, she knocked it off the tv stand and scratched up my gow game. not sure if the drive is bad or not, dont have a game i want to test it on if you know what i mean. so im gonna make her buy me a new 360. guess i'll wait

not bad if theres only a limited supply il make sure i pre buy it from eb or bestbuy, i. 80 bucks more than the pro is a good deal for all the extras that it comes. it looks way better in black than white they should keep that color for it.

so the only difference is the color, the HDMI (which, without going to 1080p is not a neccisary upgrade, makes it easier to connect, but serves no actual function...), and the hard drive?

seems to me like they would AT LEAST have put the HD DVD drive internally, and then made use of the added HDMI cable upgrade. then they could also start using a higher resolution format for their games to be able to keep up with the PS3 whenever sony decides to tap into its 1080p capabilities.

i do find this interesting though... sony has 1080p capabilities, but has no way to output into 1080p (limiting it to 1080i). and meanwhile, microsoft is putting output capabilities up to 1080p, but limiting its processing to 1080i :lol:
