Id have to agree with tht.....because he took soo much daily he will have severe withdrawals due to this....its also wht happens w/ alcoholics nd others whom have gone cold turkey from drugs/alcohol.....it takes a lil while for them to stop having severe withdrawals....also tell him to nevr mix xanax nd coke evr again...tht is a serious downer combined w/ an upper....worse combo u can have ur heart can literally shutdown immediately when doing a speedball like tht....

I have alot of experience w/ family members nd alcohol/drugs....so throw out questions if u need to know something else....

alright well how about this. my brother is pretty well educated so he doesnt need to learn how to read. he is educated on his drugs, but just decided to quit taking them because of financial situation. he knew he would have a seizure. He is not suicidal. he took xanax nothing else. and i am pretty sure that is what i said not a bunch of pills at one time. so therefore i see that post you made totally irrelavent to helping anyone out.

Actually xanax is a depression pill correct? So I was just throwing out some ideas and thought the way you worded it sounded like he was mixing with other drugs he was on. Maybe if you were a little more clearer about it I wouldnt have said that, but given what you said and how I processed it I gave you my thoughts. Sorry you took them the way you did, but hey imagine that someone getting bent over a post when all I was doing was trying to help.

Other people are telling you what to do, so maybe if you could get off my nutz you could notice that people are offering you advice, so forget what I said and go take another hit off your bong pipe or something.

like eveyrone has been saying, he gonna have bad withdrawels. Go talk to a doctor, he will know the best way to work thro them, and if your brother doesnt plan on quiting its time for an intervention, since things seem as if there about to fall apart

Yea, thats alot of xanax daily and all that is still in his system, and the physical/emotional/mental addiction is still going to be there and him having seizures is his body craving the xanax. They will most likely happen until most of the xanax cleans out of his system. Withdrawl cna get really bad depending on how much you have taking and how hooked you are onto it.

If you bring him to a doctor or rehab clinic they will help the withdrawals by giving him something else to slow get the dependancy down....they will eventually get him off of the drug(hopefully) nd he wont b having the seizures from the withdrawls....

which ever way u guys go good luck to u...i know its a hard thing to go through.

They have substitute forms of xanax and the such that they give them in lower and lower doses until the eventually get weeded off. That may be the best thing if he cannot endure the withdrawls, even with that though he may still get slight withdrawls

yeah, xanax withdraws can be fatal. You can die from the seizures. He will find all this out if he is at the ER.. he will need to taper off it slow.

I know a lot about xanax withdraw.. it took a year to taper off for me.. and it was pure hell... i wasnt suicidal before.. but i sure as fuk was for the year it took to get off... I was eating a lot more than 4mg a day though.. and took it daily for a couple years.

Also, mixing benzos and coke can be fatal.. not that i haven't done it countless times... but i quit when a friend died from it. He is in for a world of unimaginable suffering if he is unlucky enough to experience protracted benzodiazepine withdraw (like i did).. it makes kicking heroin look like child's play.

whenever i did coke i would snort a bar to come down off of it and it was really quite good. he is down stairs with his arm in a sling just chillen in a lot of pain. thank you guys for the support and info. to the bigbangtheory... i over reacted, but you were still hating on my brother who just had a massive 4 min. seizure which was messed up. xanax is an anti-depressent. i hope my bro doesnt injur(sp) himelf anymore than he already has. thanx again.

xanax is not an antidepressant, its an anti-anxiety drug. A short acting benzodiazepine.

Please tell me how I was hating on your brother? If you can please explain it too me in lamens terms. Cause I dont think I was and sorry you took it that way. Honestly it sounds to me that you both have had some drug problems and need to talk to someone with more experience than some people from a car audio site.
