xanax dependency

Well, my brother is about 24 years old i think. Today at 11am he was at work and just fell out and had a 4 minutes seizure. He dislocated and broke his left shoulder. He has messed with so many drugs throughout his highschool days, which seems to be alright, but he kept doing them throught college and after college. He has taken over 4mg of xanax daily. He abruptly quit last night probably from lack of funds due to cocaine or some other horrindous drug.

What will happen now? Will he continue to have seizures or does it only take one and then its done? I fear for my brother's life. He was the "cool" kind of brother to go get you ****ed up. We have gone through a lot of hard shit together and i am going to sit down and have a talk with him about where his life is heading and how much he will be missed, because he is one of the coolest people i know messed up on drugs or not. Is anyone educated in this area? If so please, please, please help me out!!! His girlfriend, who i have grown so fond of is thinkin about leaving him. I am so upset right now its hard to concentrait.

I don't know THAT much about drugs like that, but if they don't stop within a week I'd have him see a doctor.I used to work with a real big pill popper.Really nice guy though.

he is pretty well educated in this subject as well as i, i just dont know anything about withdraws when you stop after you have been taking such a high dosage for such a long time

Is he mixing all those drugs together while on xanax? He needs to go get an education on how to read as you should never mix shit like that. I think he is kinda asking for it. Maybe he is suicidal or something along those lines. Might want to talk to your parents about this.

No man, please do not even joke about something like that. You just made me want you to be suicidal. Well, think about this. If you have a dependency for xanax to where you cannot stop taking it or you have a seizure are you gunna stop to hit a line of coke? HELL NO!! are you retarted? have a seizure of coke now that would be some shit. What all did i say he takes? xanax, smokes pot, coke occasionaly. Back in the day he was on lsd, shrooms, etc. etc. a real party man.

My brother graduated from CLEMSON UNIVERSITY with a MOTHERFOCKING 3.5 gpa. You need an education you dumb bastard! I hate you.

I was trying to give you some info you dumb fawker! Sometimes people get so depressed that they take whatever pills they can find and I didnt know if you was still on drugs at the moment.

dude wasnt even helping out. he insulted my brothers intelligence and his sanity that is not helping out. if so please tell me how it helps anyone on this thread except for me cuz i can take out some frustration on the internet to some man i have never met before who is hating on someone who obviolsy needs some type of help.

But if you want solid anwsers go talk to a doctor, he cna go indepth on what to do with withdrawels. That and its time for an interevention with family and friends if this siezure did teach him lesson enough. xanax isnt weak stuff and mixing it with coke and who knows else, could some pretty bad physical dependencies. You really need to talk to a doctor.

He is having withdrawls and the usually stop when his system is cleaned out which can be acouple days or a couple weeks, and they can seem to get worse before they get better. Being as he took that much daily and then stopped cold turkey his withdrawl syndrome is gonna be pretty bad

alright well how about this. my brother is pretty well educated so he doesnt need to learn how to read. he is educated on his drugs, but just decided to quit taking them because of financial situation. he knew he would have a seizure. He is not suicidal. he took xanax nothing else. and i am pretty sure that is what i said not a bunch of pills at one time. so therefore i see that post you made totally irrelavent to helping anyone out.

so you think he could possibly have another seizure or something? he was in the hospital all day today so he was probably talkin to a doctor about it i would imagine.
