X8 Sealed performance

Just wondering if/how the X8 would perform in a sealed environment. Considering trying 3 of the D2's in a sealed box on a Crescendo B2000 at 1ohm....just looking for some input.

Not sealed friendly. The sa8 would be better suited.

Do not seal up the X-8 or SA-8 or even the E8, IMO ; the SD-2 8 is what you want.

Ok then I'll just run ported....considering picking up 3 off the sundown on that other forum. They are 115 each but then there's no telling if I'll have to send them off to have them fixed or whatever before i even run them.

mine is sealed in 10l enclosure, and just sounds great.

Could sound much stronger in ported, but 750W RMS are more than enough to run even sealed. altough, due the high Xmax, bandpass should be better IMO, because you can hear some air moving
