X15 or ZV415?

The box will be 4.5 cubes net, 2x 6" ports @32hz and run off a BC2000D.

I am pretty sure the X will handle ~2250 even though it is only rated 1500 rms.

Just wondered what people though, should I just get a Zv4 just to be safe?

X will handle power fine... The zv4 should be roughly 1db louder on same power and same box... Get the zv4 if you plan to use more power down the road

I'd get the x version too.

There's people out there putting 2-3x the power on those subs.

Unless it's the X v2 I'd also consider what bandwidth you want to play as the X v1 rolls off bad by mid 40's....

Do you have any future plans for the build? Power handling isn't anything to worry about with either of these subs at this level, as long as your signal stays clean.

If your 4.5 cubic feet is a net number, that box is going to match up really well with an X or a Z, but if you think you'll be adding more power later, the Z will really start to shine.

To be honest, you really can't go wrong with either. Learn about the subs and what they're designed for, and choose accordingly per your desires. Good luck!

Will prob end up getting a X15 and use the extra 150 towards another battery or something.
