Well, I get two days there, one is sorting Oriental rugs from china that were damaged (for an insurance co), then staying in a hotel. The other, if I get the rugs done, will be spent seeing some sights...

Uh, I was thinking cental park, ride the subway once, then IDK???

ive been to ATL a million times and i think its a whole lot nicer (cleaner) than NYC...
even touristy places in nyc like times sqaure are dirty.

Yes that is very true.

ATL is much cleaner than NYC, but overall, Id say NYC has the advantage.

The subway is grimey as can be. You can never ever find a seat, it's overpacked like ****, and smells like rancid BO.

if youve never been there before central park is always a cool place to chill.

personally I like lower manhattan (village, soho, broadway) and brooklyn. earlier I said take the subway uptown, but if you dont know where youre going, I wouldn't recommend wandering around up there too much.

it all depends on your interests...

for me it was shopping... 5th avenue.... and then Harlem if you like the things I like...

ride the subway? EWWWW... don't go near it... well unless you get a daypass metro card and wanna travel far... and I do suggest you do it, but not for the dirt ride... just for the quick transportation.

What kinda site's do you wanna see? I personally hated going to the statue of Liberty (too many tourists, too cold, takes forever to get to it), Empire state building is alright at night to look at all the lights (but takes very long to get up it, very long lineups), the world trade site is a big thing to see tho (I highly recomend that)... And a lot of people like central park, but it's nothing special IMO, but I do understand why people visit (it's huge, many different things, perfect place to relax and chill and see trees)

Its dirty, but still a fun place to go eat all kinds of pizza and drink at some night clubs. I go about 1 time a year. Have family there.
