Wut wiring kit for dei 1100d

Some1 told me 4 gauge but i looked at a amplifier amperage draw chart and it said if u had a 125-150 amp draw and 16-19 ft of cable then get 2 gauge wiring kit.

I think i did the math right

1100rms / 13V battery = 84

then he said something like times by 1 & 1/2 for some reason or another forgot so my amperage draw for this amp would be

126

So basically if u could tell me wut wiring kit i should get it would help

But if im right im thinkin 2 gauge not 4 gauge. But hey wut do i no

You should be fine with 4 gauge, but get bigger wire if you want incase you upgrade.

Mine was 17ft with a 150amps fuse, never a problem.

But yes, I would go with 2awg or 1/0awg. That way you most definately have enough cable to carry the necessary current plus the benefit of leaving yourself room for expansion without having to re-run power cable later should you add to your setup.

I would personally go with 1/0 that way you can always upgrade without having to rerun wire.
