Sold WTT/WTB:2 channel or mono sub amp

Im looking for a 2 channel or mono sub amp for my mom's ride. Need to get rid of the current "old red" Sony Xplod, its not bad, just need more power.

The amp needs to output as close as possible to 250x2 RMS@4 ohms, or 500x1 @ 4 ohms. Will consider amps that can do 2 ohm load @ 500 watts, but I would prefer to keep the subs running at 4 ohms (less current draw).

Im not concerned about brand name or styling as much as the price. I just want to do a cheap upgrade. Dont bother suggesting anything more costly, unless you want to take a trade + cash for an item that I have.

I can afford up to $100 with shipping or trade. Would prefer to do business with anyone that can offer feedback (ebay?) of some sort or has perviously done business on this or another forum.

I have a Bazooka EL1500 - not the prettiest amp in the world, but if you're okay with that it certainly does the job (surprisingly well, actually). It's not quite what you wanted... 375x1 @ 4ohms, 500x1 @ 2ohms, but it's close. Asking about $70 shipped.

Ill let you know about that Bazooka. I'm looking at some other more powerful amps. Im switching from the Infinity 10"s to two Adire Shiva 12"s. They'd be good with close to 1000W+ RMS for the pair.

We do have some other stuff to offer you, especially if you're looking for better quality stuff. The Bazooka's pretty much the bottom of the barrel for us (they're not great, but we were surprised by their performance).

Are you still wanting to run them @ 4 ohms, and I assume your budget didn't suddenly change?

A little (hah) higher than the price range you asked, but 2 MTX1500DXs would do the trick. They're rated for 500x1 @ 2 ohms, but they actually do about 600x1 @ 2 ohms. I think we're asking $120 shipped for each, but we'd definitely be willing to make a trade including broken amps, and always willing to listen to other offers.

I doubt you'll be interested since you're trying to get more power, but we also have a Sony 2150GSX. It's one of the newer models, and we were really impressed by their new stuff. The overall quality's better, and we feel they're more reliable than the old ones by leaps and bounds. It is, however, only 380x1 @ 4ohms. $100 shipped if you have any interest.

Well I have the Sony 2 channel listed in my first post if you want to take is a trade, let me know if you are interested in any of that gear, its all in perfect condition, nothing broken, but let me know either way. I am planning on getting a pair of Adire Shivas, so as close as I can get to 1000W RMS at either 4 or 2 ohms, and as close to $100 shipped as possible.
