I liked my 20.1 alot so i want to play with a 40.1. I have two 3k's and dont really need the other one right now. Its in great shape. Only markings on it are on the mounting holes. Has the new heatsink. I have original box, manual, and bass remote as well. If interested shoot me a pm, i can get pictures later. Interested in a 40.1 thats in good to mint shape. I can add some cash as well.

huh? please explain. I has one.
The fets on the 40.1 are mounted 90 degrees or vertical on the heatsink as opposed to the sundown where they are mounted almost flat.. Chris @ dB-r says that the Sundown's fets are stronger mounted that way and are less prone to break or vibrate loose from high amounts of SPL. Regardless, they are both terrific amps and make copious amounts of power.

awwww..... i gotcha. I was thinking in terms of heat dissipation or something //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif I'm not a fan of the way the fets are mounted either but it gives it a smaller footprint I guess.

Here are a couple pics. It has one scratch by the mounting hole.
