I think most would consider this a downgrade.

i dont know about down grade. I want something similar, I just want my sh!t to match since i have MTX subs. Its only a name difference.

if your using all 3 of the 12's i'd suggest the mtx 8100d or 1501d....same amp...

if using 2 get a newer mtx..i think those are stable at 1 ohm...i could be mistaken though
