What I have is a Eclipse 55090 HU (retail $1600 but of course I'm not looking for that value in a trade and that was several years ago) and I'm looking for another Eclipse HU; I can't use this HU and I'm sure someone else can make use of its DVD capabilities. Possibly looking for straight up trades or selling it for cash so I can buy another HU.

THx for your time

edit: I do have the remote but the battery cover is missing. I can also attempt to find the manual //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

The Eclipse 55090 DVD tuner turned in good bench numbers. The CD section had good output level, a good S/N ratio, low distortion, and good D/A linearity. Its frequency response had a mild 1.4-dB rolloff at the high end. Its tuner section was slightly better than average, with good S/N and selectivity numbers and good FM frequency response. I wished FM distortion had been slightly lower, but it was about average for head units. The 39011 processor had similarly good performance, with good S/N and distortion figures. No problems here. —KCP
