WTT Ap3k for Near Same Power @ 1 ohm

Bought 2 15" ssd's and the ad said they were d2's well just checked today(theyve been sitting in the sub box since purchase cuz havent been able to hook em up) well bought an ap3k basically new yesterday and decided to check the voice coils well ends up their d1s : ( So lookin to trade the ap3k preferably locally for something of near power at 1 ohm. thanks

you gotta look at the specs, most of fi's subs are d2= 1.4 per coil and d1= .7 per coil

If you can wire a final load at 1.4 ohm, try it out.

What did the coils read? Odds are you will be fine, however, you will be hard pressed to trade that. They are not very valuable and most amps that are on this forum cost what two of those AP amps would cost.

Two D1's will wire to .7ohm or 2.8ohm or even .175ohm. So can you explain the wiring configuration that will yeild 1.4 for two D1 subs? Maybe im dumb......................?

He's saying in the case that they are 1.4 ohm / D2, then to just wire it up that way.
