why you wanting to trade 2 1500d for a 3000d. from what i have seen then 1500d's strapped together with do about 3700 watts at 1ohm and the 3000 did about 3200 at 1ohm. but the voltage on the 3000 was all the way down to 10.75 volts and the 1500 was at 12.8.
