WTH did I do power antenna wont work

Ok so everything is working fine. Power antenna is going up and down nicely.

Well today I try to install a neon light in my trunk. The car is off and everything but the trunk light usually still works. I cut the wire with a razor blade and see sparks so I guess I didnt get it turned off. I figure oh shit no big deal.

Get the light plugged in and it doesnt power on so well only like half lights up so i figured the power wire just wasnt strong enough for this light or whatever.

I moved my amp around a bit too and screwed it in but the remote wire is plugged in fine and is turning the amp on so I dont think that is the problem

WTF DID I DO??? How can I tell if I blew a fuse or whatever?

Most of the time you can tell just by looking at it. If you dont know how ask someone around you to help.

I did check them but I dont know how to tell if they are blown. It looks the same pretty much.

There are a few slots that just say spare fuse

can I just try switching them out

yeah, but if you saw sparks chances are you will be able to tell if its blown.

Also there are usually two fuse boxes in cars so check both.

You remove the fuse, look at it to see if the internal connection is shot, if not... put the fuse back.

before doing any electrical work on your vehicle whether it be installing neons, HIDs, updating amp whatever

disconnect the negative from your Battery.
