i have a kicker zx650.4 that goes in and out of protect (ie amp powers up goes into protect turns off and then turns on and does the same thing again:verymad when the white rca is connected with only the red rca connected the amp works fine. my sub amp works fine with the same pair of rcas so i don't think that they're the problem. i also tried hooking up the amp to a mp3 player but i had the same problem when i connected the white rca. also if the amp has rcas hooked up only at the amp it does not go into protect. has anyone else on here had a problem like this im truly stumped.

about 1/3 of the way up i have tried lowering and raising them.

you may have a loose rca connection on the amp board.

kickers tend to have that issue alot on the older amps not sure about the newer models since i only sell and deal with their speaker lines now.

I had that one time when I accidentally ran my amp way under the recommend ohm load.
