wtf

You guys are getting ***** paying other people to fix it. Knowing how to work on your own vehicle is a good skill to have and saves a lot of money.

its not knowing how to fix it. its haveing a place to do it with tools too. if i had a shop with a lift and a bunch of the right tools i would do it my self. the way i think of it as instead of buying all them tools and stuff just pay some one to do it for me who as all the stuff to do it i usely fix my own stuff but i no longer have the space or tools

it does not seem that hard to do

some do, but probably not for your car. Some chryslers are bad about the ball joints. Try getting a lifetime warranty part.
thats funny my firend was telling me the same thing that chrylser has always had that problem even from the 60s

Ooohhhhhhhhhhhh noes, a 40 dollar fix!!!!
NOOOOOO, car is still driveable no?
not even close

The ball joint is integral to the control arm, it's more than $40, plus it pays 2 hours labor so thats $150 to $200. and an alignment.
winner on labor 200

i ended up paying over $500 for lower ball joint replacement and the $80 alignment. $40 my ***.
you my firend where right it was 520.02 minus 35 for oil change i dont seem to need an aliment need new axle too

Got mine fixed couple months ago......35$........50$ towing fee
i must meet your guy

more then 225 but less then 400. does that help?
