So this Sony Xplod 4 channel that my friend has is rated for 50 watts X 4. My HU is 75 watts X 4.

Is it weird that this POS amp is less powerful then my HU?

Oh I didn't know but those probably are peak numbers. But still, why make an amp that is barely any better than a head unit?
