I bought a kenwood amp and a fosgate sub about a year ago and up until last week it was great. I was driving and my amp cut out for about 2 minutes before it came back on. When it came back on my sub sounded like crap. It was hitting hard sometimes, but it was missing a lot of beats and when it caught one it was a half *** hit. The next day my amp totally went out. I replaced the fuse and the amp came back on but the sound on my sub is still not as good as it was.

What could this be????

I have to get new RCA's because of a similar problem like yours. My shiz keeps playing half *** then hits like it should be and back to half *** (and so on and so on). I wiggled and held my RCA's in certain ways to see if they actually were the problem, and they were.
