I have a 12" Kicker L7 4 Ohm when its wired 2 ohm in the box it wont work on my Kicker Zx 750.1 amp but if i hook it up only running 1 voice coil it works wtf is wrong with my sub

Check each coil individually with a DMM. Sounds like one coil is shorted out, breaking the circuit when you wire them both together.

hrm i got another amp ima try it on 2 ohm it sounds pretty decent only with 1 voice coil tho

Why do you even ask, if you are gonna ignore us and go all village-idiot instead?

Running the sub on only one voice coil changes the speaker's t/s specs drastically, as does it change the speaker's enclosure requirements, and halves power handling. In other words, you will have a crappy sounding system (dont kid yourself) for prolly a week or so, then you'll have a burning smell in your car. Hope that works out well for you.
