Sure it makes sense, I'm not saying it's not true. But he could have wrote it in a way that's easier to read. Thats what I was getting at.

I liked this tutorial better: http://www.termpro.com/articles/xover2.html. It's more to the point.

IMO the tutorial is good if you already understand all of this and/or are trying to learn this instead of just getting the results without understanding how it works.

seems longwinded. i am a fan of the top-down approach when describing how to do things. at least to the point it is feasible. this guide is a more of a ground-up approach.
