i use firefox on vista,

but sometimes my firefox will freeze,

but better than IE still, my IE also doesnt have any forward, backward, stop, or refresh buttons

FWIW I have an answer to getting rid of the "live search" crap

save this in text as a .reg and then double click

Use Opera, IE and FF both **** *** ...

i tried opera but i didnt like it. i actually tried it because i saw you recommend it. firefox to me, just seems the most straight forward for a user such as myself.

Ive been using vista scince its release, the biggest problem is driver compatibility, as well as some programs being wacky.

Take a bit of time to get the drivers figured, then turn of UAC, and us firefox instead of crappy IE7 and youll be fine.

i enjoy it more than XP, it just looks nicer

and i figure i should enjoy the interface of my computer.

still wish i would have bought a mac though

i have everything working except the most important thing

i cant get the SPDIF output on my soundcard to pass DD/DTS, only 2 channel, the option is greyed out and i have no idea why. no matter what i screw with in filters and my software player(zoom player) i cant get it to work

it worked fine with my drivers in XP so it has to be a vista issue

really sucks to watch a 1080p movie with DPL2 sound instead of DTS
