WTF? North Korea tested a nuke and I just heard about it?

Oh yea, thank god. you're right. Obama has a lot of experience when it comes to this kind of stuff. Thank God he is running the country. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
I think Obama's use of stern language has already shown us he knows how to handle things when the shit gets serious.

You clearly have no clue how the Nuclear Poliferation Treaty works, stop pretending like you do.

What did GWBush do when N.Korea said they had, would use and tested a nuclear bomb? Nothing.
I love how it's now all Obama's fault. Same with the economy. GWBush could have killed and eaten children on live t.v. and it would still be Obamas fault.
You think Bush held back because he wanted to? The bleeding heart liberal Europeans hamstring such tactics as barbaric. But Im a reasonable person, lets see how well stern wording works.

What tactics? Distract and ignore? Great policy.

"America must not ignore the threat gathering against us. Facing clear evidence of peril, we cannot wait for the final proof, the smoking gun that could come in the form of a mushroom cloud."George W. Bush - (State of Union to justify Iraq invasion)
Of course this policy only applies to countries that have oil and weak defenses. Unlike North Korea.

It's not Obama's fault. It's not even Bush's fault. It just happend. We are recovering right now. S and P was actually up for 2009 the other day.
No, it didn't "just happen". America is still in a state of War with N. Korea. We have had a policy for many decades that N. Korea cannot be allowed to develop nuclear weapon and we would take military action to prevent it.

That's called saber rattling and when it came time to act, we blinked and did nothing.

jumping to every supposed "threat" isn't the proper course of action either. Then we'd be too busy chasing little threats and not be able to face a true problem if one were to ever occur

"Every 'supposed' threat"? Is there a bigger one somewhere? Have we been at war for 50 years with any other crazy dictators threating to nuke Los Angeles, and actually testing the nuclear weapons to do it?

This is a big one. Our policy has been to ignore it and hope it goes away, while he builds more nuclear weapons and we invade a country that "may" have WMD. These guys are shouting at the top of thier lungs they have WMD's and they built them to use on us. No response? Send troops to Kosovo and Somalia? Invade Iraq?

Nothing for NK or pakistan. Nuke them from space, it's the only way to be sure.

Now you are just trolling.

When its pointed out that Obama's plan of passivism will likely fail, you say Bush did nothing either. When its pointed out Bush was demonized when he did take action against foreign countries, you say its only because of oil interests. The funny part is, your under lying point is how Obama gets all the blame. Im no Bush fan, but it has certainly gotten to the point where Bush could do nothing right in the general public's eye.
The sad part is, they are both politicians, so they probably equally **** at handling truly important issues. Id almost rather have infants deciding our fates than politicians.
