WTF? North Korea tested a nuke and I just heard about it?

Outsourcing our work to foreign countries to save a dollar. Removing jobs from the American people, the jobs that OUR parents raised us with, All of it is now gone. What jobs we have now are not suitable to sustain an economy and allow growth and prosperity.

WTF I am talking about is the whole GAWD DAYUM reason we go to college, the reasons we pursue degrees, the livelihood we strive for as middleclass citizen. Regardless what your visions are towards the job market, the fact remains. If companies keep dropping out and leaving us for dead, there is no direction to go. I hope that we can resurrect our working way of life. Because circle K and Wal-Mart are not the jobs of tomorrow. I see people’s lives SHATTERED everyday because of outsourcing. Those that hoped to be where their parents are we they grow up are now distraught over the coming future that is unfolding.
let me guess; your unemployed?

The future looks bright for those of us that have jobs skills demanded by a modern economy. This is the 21st century, not the 15th; the globe has and will continue to become more and more interconnected. If you want some low skilled job that went over seas so badly then maybe you should consider moving to have the job that you want so badly. Your protectionist economic nationalism is something that will do alot more harm than good.

This guy is right. Look how horrible we did in WWII because it was started in the midst of our worst depression ever. We'll get rolled over just like we did in WWII
Sorry I'm kinda late, but...

Are you out of your mind? What the US did in WWII was amazing! The amount of war machines and materials made was unbelievable. Also We won. Then all the soldiers who fought and came back to the GI bill.. That war did our country nothing but good economically.

http://www.seattlepi.com/business/164018_outsource10.asp

I am employed and I work with companies like Honeywell, Motorola, Intel, Boeing, LMartin, ect. I know what I am talking about. These engineers, developers ect are losing their jobs to India, China, Mexico and Malaysia... That is not low skilled. What do you consider a low skilled job? Why is a low skilled job bad for the American citizen? Are you implying that those that work those jobs need not be around anymore and should go elsewhere? Those of you that have a job for the modern economy only deserve to work in the USA? The globe has been interconnected for years. I know what is out there more than you, I assure you. Simple fact is that those low skilled jobs that you refer to are just about the backbone to our society. Please continue to be arrogant. I am enticed.

What I'm implying, and i thought this was obvious, is that you are not guaranteed a job. If your particular profession is leaving the country due to outsourcing then, you have two options: you can choose to move to that other country and take a lower wage, or you can retrain for a different job. Obviously the only reason these jobs go overseas is because they can be done there cheaper. If your job is done somewhere cheaper, why do you deserve to continue receiving a higher wage for the same work? What exactly is your solution? Subsidize American jobs? Use protectionist measures and kill other US jobs by blocking trade with India or China? All I am saying is that these are some of the most basic laws of economics and that fighting them has always caused more aggregate harm than good.

Why cant those jobs that are the 'backbone of our society' be done in other countries, especially if its cheaper?

What jobs we have now are not suitable to sustain an economy and allow growth and prosperity.
I'm especially objecting to this statement. All the evidence seems to suggest the opposite. Certain jobs may leave our country but economic growth rates steadily continue in the US, and explode in countries like India and China.
