WTF iva-310 Help please

So i finally got my new car 98 Bmw 318i

I also just bought a iva-310 and the tr7 bypass

So i ran all the wires hooked it up

I turn on the deck it powers up fine

i toss in a cd and i get no sound im like wtf

check my conections every thing is fine?

I try the radio and i get fuzz from the speakers

I im like well the internal amp works......

Any one know why i cant play a ****ing cd?

O btw my ipod didnt make sounds as well :-/

--Going to install my amps tomorrow see if i can get some sound from the rcas.

but you do get sound out of the speakers when the radio is on?

^^^ like he said. If you get sound out of the speakers when the radio is on (actual clean reception), then something is wrong with your deck. Does the CD at least play when you insert it or not? You might have a factory amp which needs rewiring.

ok when the stock deck was in it sounded fine, so its not the speakers.

i installed the new deck turned the raido on and i got fuzz

So the deck does make sound i guess but when i play a cd/dvd/ipod

i get no sound.

plug in the antenna and so what happens, see if you can get actual sound from the radio. and then try it.

im thinking my bmw stock system dosent like my new wireing harness..

Is your factory system amped? if so did you bypass the amp or did you run the remote turn on to your factory amp?

I ran my turn on to my factory amp. Sure, the volume is whacked and there was some noise but eh. I got over it.

If I understand what you're saying correctly....

when you select the radio you get static, based on the lack of antenna but when you have cd/ipod/dvd selected you get NO sound at all?

That means you hooked up the blue wire (power antenna wire) upto the wire harness. What you need to do is hook up the blue/white wire, which is the amp turn on.
