kinda blurry but it looks to me like the the stuff you stick to the box around the cutout. just a little extra thing that helps create a seal between the sub and box.

I would of called, but I figured no one would be there at this time I dunno lol.

I figured it was a sealer of some sort. I know some speakers come with stick on foam.

I assume I roll it out like a snake to make it longer so it goes all the way around the speaker?
