WTF!!!!!!!!!!!! Get in here NOW!!!!

That particular book is worth less than half of the seller's asking price....when it's in near mint condition.
Funniest part of the listing..........the method of shipping. If you actually paid $1mil for something would you want someone to stick it in the mail?

But the shipping is free, dude. That's a steal. And all you have to do is pay an anonymous internet seller 2x fair market value....for a beat to shit, ungraded, autographed comic that has no certificate of authenticity.

Seriously, even with the obvious condition issues of that book, NOT having it graded is retarded. Even if it's graded at 5.0, at least it'll be authenticated.

You missed the bait. That is supposedly the one and only copy signed by Joe Schuster, Jerry Siegel and Joanne Siegel. The two creators and the one's wife who was the 'inspiration' for Lois Lane. If its true, who is to say what its worth. A unique item has noting to compare value to, and is only given a value when its sold/bought. That being said, I think its ridiculous what some of those old comics can sell for, unique or not.

If anyone actually gave him a million dollars for it, Im sure he'd buy a plane ticket and hand deliver it. An item of that value wouldn't simply come down to the usual ebay rules. If the need arose, it would go to court, and damage or loss in delivery could easily come down to the shipper's responsibility.

Without the proper documentation those signatures aren't worth more than mine or yours. That's why having the book graded would be beneficial. Even though it's in rough condition, at least CGC would authenticate it...

These were the only 2 I could find from the ones I had.

Im betting it would be fairly easy to authenticate those signatures. But even then, Im in no way suggesting I think the thing should be worth anywhere near its posted sell price. I dont know much about comic collecting, Im speaking strictly from a "who the hell would pay a million dollars for a comic book" perspective here.

Yes, authenticating the signatures would be simple, but expensive. CGC would take care of it.

I highly doubt anyone would pay 1 million for the book we're discussing, but Action Comics #1 (Superman's first apearance) has indeed sold for a million.

Actually, he could just go to the pawn shop in Vegas from the show Pawn Stars. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif They bring in experts to authenticate signatures a lot. Especially if the item was valuable. I bet this item would make the show. lol

And even if it cost a good deal, Im sure it wouldn't cost more than it would raise the value of the book having the signatures authenticated.
