I have the xxx comp set on a sundown 100.2 Gain at half, filter on full with a 30band memphis eq. they were hitting nothing lower than 65 hz which is fine for these speakers. yesterday on my way home the right mid stopped. the tweeter was working. I pulled it out last night before i went inside and one of the wires jus popped out, nbd ill fix it today. well i go and put the wires back into the terminal and nothing. the mid will play on low level but as soon as i turn it up it crackles and stops.

you probably fried the VC's sounds like they are half cooked

then the wire popped out it prolly hit somewhere else on the x-overs and damaged it

did you try a DMM yet?

low notes + long periods = hot coils
