WTF? and a quick termlab question

OK, first of all, is it normal for the bar graph (top pic) to read this far off from the number in the display?





Also, this is freaking maddeing that I'm still not hitting 150.

Quick backstory, so far EVERY box/amp/sub combo I've tried peaks at 53 or 54hz (depending on the day?). This box did:

148.8 (pair of Shocker Sig 15's with DC pai2000.1)

149.7 (Pair of Shocker Sig 15's with Sundown 3Kd)

148.6 (pair of Shocker Sig 12's with Sundown 3Kd)

ALL at 53/54hz

These are ALL in the same box. Also tried a couple other boxes and don't recall numbers but the peak was ALWAYS 53/54hz

Did a single Neo Sig 15 in a different box and did 149.6 with the 3Kd

SO now I'm using the box the original numbers were from with a pair of Neo sigs and a PAIR of 3Kds and this is my results. My number at 54hz is 148.8 and now I peak at 43hz? Something really odd going on here WTF happened to my output at 54hz?

HO alternator and 2 decent size deep cycles in the back. 14.4 at idle does NOT drop below mid 12's. DO have more batteries, but need to re-build for them to fit.

97 jeep grand cherokee

subs up port to the driver's side appx 6 cube net (I've tried subs up port up, subs and port back, sub back port side, sub front port side with various boxes all peak 54hzish).

Minimal deadening. Rear lift-gate and front doors.

Subs up, port to drivers side is considered a 'jeep box'. It just tended to work well in jeep cherokee's

Try playing w/ tuning w/ that design, you may gain more.

Subs back port to the driver's side seems promising also. I'm thinking it's either an impedence rise issue or something to do with strapping the amps since this IS a gain (at 43hz) but I lose about 1db at 54hz (where EVERY other combination I've tried peaks).
