Kind of destroyed my sub this morning so while I'm working on getting it reconed I'd like something else so I don't have to ride without bass.

What I have:

Fiberglass enclosure approximately 1.8 cubic feet after port displacement tuned to 30Hz

1100 watts at 1 ohm from a Memphis Belle

What I'm looking for:

Either a 12" (that's what the box is built for)

or a 10" (could make an adapter out of MDF easily)

or possibly a very badass 8"

What I have to trade:

Memphis 2 channel --> LINK

Budget is flexible, I'm looking for more of a temporary sub but I guess if I find something I like enough I may just sell the blown one...Let's say less than $200 shipped to Detroit.

We have a used IDMAX that is in great shape. Its a little over your budget but I can get it to you for $235 shipped.

I have a TC9 "Alumapro" D2 12, thats the exact spec I would recommend for a box, would give you a very flat response and its super efficient.

Fs 31.7

Qts .36

Vas 37.1L

Bl 22.59

Le 3.7mH

Qes .39

Xmax 18mm (overhang method)

Re 4.2 (series)

bump - still looking

The enclosure has some space limitations, I can't throw just any woofer in it.

Cutout diameter: 11 1/8"

Flushmount outer diameter: 12 3/8"

Current sub mounting depth: 6 3/4"

The port sits behind the sub and there's not much clearance there...for example that 12" XFL is almost an entire inch deeper and I kind of doubt I could fit it... :/

This sub intrigues me, never heard of the brand but the basket/motor look EXACTLY like the ED sub I just blew...
Never heard of soundsplinter?? Holeeshite lol... the rlp uses a triple slug tc9 on a long arm 4 spoke. eD never built a 12 that could keep up with the rl-p, or an overhung motor nearly as large. I'm not sure with your rearward clearance, but the rlp shouldnt be able to fit. The tc9 I offered is 6.5 deep though.

Aside from the cone they look an awful lot alike to me...
