i think it threw a few people off when you said 1100w. Most people don't talk about max wattage around here, since it doesn't mean anything. You have some good choices here, good luck!

i like that sub but its rated to high for my sub channel.im lookin at 550watts rms not over a 1000. how well would that sub work with half power in a 3cu/ft box?

That sub would work perfect in 3cu/ft. That would be it's optimal size reccomendation. It doesn't take alot of power to get this sub moving either.

It will wang with 550 rms and it will also give you head room if you want to upgrade to a more powerful amp in the future.
