Sold WTB : Single 12" Enclosure (For a Magnum)

Okie everybody, lay it on me.

I need to know of any/all single 12" sub enclosures anybody has for sale (or anybody who would be willing to build one for $$$).

Sealed is preferred, but i'm not gonna overlook going ported. The only real requirements are that the box is in good condition and that you don't mind shipping it (unless you're within 2 hours or so of Chicago and wouldn't mind meeting halfway or something).

a sealed box is no big deal... you could probably

build one for ~40 bucks worth of material... shipping

alone would be close to that if you were to buy

one from someone across the country...

sorry... i just built my first box this weekend so im

psyched on encouraging those who resist to build

their own boxes... its pretty easy...

Yeah, I have some materials left from a box that I was gonna build myself before, but i'm a computer guy, not a carpenter. The biggest problem I had was trying to figure out how to cut the big round hole for the sub without a router...

i used a jigsaw... for the circle i just used a compas and made

a slightly bigger than 11" hole... for a 12" sub the mounting

holes are usually around 11.125" or so... perfect fit!!!

im no carpenter either... in fact im also a bit of a computer

guy but ive kinda fallen off the windows side of things...

i make music on my apple and sort

of play guitar...

im probably gonna buy a router after christmas just cause they are cool...

and a dremel...

Ooh! Bring out the pic(s)! This sounds like just about what i'm looking for (especially the 1" part instead of 3/4"). What kinda application was this originally made for, and what's it's cubic footage? And is it bare/carpeted/painted?

The only thing is that since you're in Cali, and the shipping might be a bit much, could you do $140 shipped (unless somehow it's less than that)?

And does anybody know if 25hz might be a bit low for this sub? The website says : "Vented = 1.5 cubic feet tuned to 32 Hz, or 2.0 cubic feet tuned to 29 Hz.", but who knows? I'll try and put the stats into WinISD and see what I come up with.
