Parts may or may not be from the same supplier.The T/S parameters are the same.But I don't care either way, I was just trying to offer an alternative to the op , as shivas and tempests are a bit rare to find now.

There was a difference between the Tempests and Dayton DVCs. I don't recall off of the top of my head exactly what it is.

OP, I bought the last used one I could find around that was still for sale. The second Tempest I picked up I had to get new from Acoustic Visions. They're $145 shipped bnib.

I have one. Only problem is it isn't pretty. Its got a slightly pushed in cone and a paper sticker on it. It works great but its ugly. Let me know if your interested
