Second ticket in a lil over 2 months. I have an old one(5yrs old), but am possibly interested in something newer. I dont need anything fancy and expensive. As long as it gets the job done. Im currently considering this one...

They work, mines just old and I dont rely on it anymore obviously since I got 2 tickets recently. The one I posted looks nice for the price though...

Don't buy a cobra. You get what you pay for. I have a cobra, I paid quite a bit more for mine and its supposed to be really good but half the time it picks up automatic doors better than it picks up actual radars. Sometimes it doesn't go off til after I pass the officer.

I have to give it a little credit, it has done its job a few times and saved me, but half the time its too late

i've used a couple different ones and the best thing i've found is to slow down, and ditch the detector. cop lasered me for 86 in a 70. after that i stopped speeding.

I hear ya man, but its hard. I work 35miles from home and I get outta work and wanna get home fast. So, thats my issue... lol

Yeah. Whatever you do don't get the XRS model cobra's. Thats what I have. It's kinda neat because it talks, but that shit goes crazy when it's cold outside. I will start my car up and it goes crazy it says "Train Approaching"..."KA Alert"..."Emergency Vehicle Approaching" for about 5 minutes before it warms up

I would definitely recommend the Valentine 1, I know they are expensive but well worth it in my opinion...
