lol

It fits your weight and power requirements almost exactly. You wouldn't find a better driver in that range. Not only that, but it's nearly identical in performance to the one you said you would have bought from my thread if it weren't for the coil rub, lol.

It's his choice. I'm sure he can find something comparable for less. As for the TC2 you have in your thread, nobody really knows if it will perform the same as I'm sure they measure very differently. Unless you measured the t/s and they're identical, which I doubt.

Something comparable to a TC2+ Rl-i for less? Not likely. And the audible difference between the 10" TC2 and the 10" TC2+ is virtually indistinguishable. They have exactly the same parts, save for a slightly smaller motor on the TC2. The main difference is the enclosure requirements due to the small change in Qes/Qts, overall character is the same. You're right though, it's his choice. I simply commented because of the relevance of his answer in this thread, to my thread. It gave me the impression that he wasn't informed enough to make that choice.
Good luck, J.

Sorry if my post came off kinda snobby, not what I was going for. But yes, I'm pretty sure I can find something comparable for less. I know you're a pretty big TC fan so trying to convince you would be more effort than I'm willing to put in.

Not at all. You were right to say what you did. And thinking on it again, you're probably right about something being comparable to the TC2+ at or near the price point, it's just that most members are not likely to be offering up those particular drivers. Fact is, that Rl-i is going to be hard to beat. I know you know your drivers so I get where you're coming from. Cheers.
I'll kindly stop cluttering your thread, now. Sorry.
