Interested in large mtx amps which are strappable.. Don't know about the elite series, but i'm looking for cheap powerhouses. I ran a pair of strapped 81001s for over a year until i destroyed them due to negligence.. Anyone have anything they're tired of? Hit me up.

Anyone chime in with any experience? I want to know if the models above the 81001 are as nicely built as the 81001. My old amplifier took a ton of abuse, and if its big brother can do the same thing, for that price i might have to do a build with them.

i don't have any experience with the older mtx amps, do they have dual power and ground inputs? I'm interested in the 81001s and 92001s for the fact that they can take abuse like the best of them... If i can find a handful of 81001s, i'll go pick up a maxxlink and strap them bishes to a beastly sub.

From what i gather, they are already strappable but you would need an external x-over to reverse the phase on the other. Maxxlink would be a better alternative, especially considering that they sell for like 90 buck on H&K's site. No dual input but straight 1/0 input.
