I have an IBM Netvista from a few years ago...1GHz Celeron mobo, 40GB hard drive, CD-RW, floppy, etc.

I'd let it go for $250 + shipping, would throw in a CRT monitor for a little extra if you covered shipping on that.

can i see pics and a list of what you are going to put in the tower? what else is included in the tower from what is not on my list? i want a big tower that is black and lcd view on the tower. I would like to know what you have soon. thanks

hes never bought anything, hes got a milling wtb thread. he does this to fvck around with people and gives them the same ill pay in 6 weeks shit.

FYI

i spent 45 minutes in pm's with him the other day specing a system, offered him an excellent price as well, then he just stopped all communication with me

he could have at least said he was gonna "shop around" or "explore his options", but he just hasnt gotten back to me at all

i think i lost him when i pointed out he would need to pay 50% up front and then the remaining balance once the pc was finished. i am not gonna spend hundreds out of my pocket building a system only to have him back out on me and leave me stuck with a pc i dont need

You know I was just thinking the same thing. I think it will be way more hassle than it is worth. He seems to know nothing about computers and I have a feeling he will mess it up and come to me to help him fix it over and over again.

He thinks a "graphics card" and "gaming card" are two different things. He also wants a "sound blaster" card for surround sound and when I offered him my Philips PSC703 sound card with digital coax output he had no idea that was the same thing as a "sound blaster"

I think I will bow out of this right now to save myself further headaches. I dont have the time or patience to deal with "window shoppers" that never buy anything anyways.
