i just sold my hatch for 6500.00. it is a lost i have but a gain to the new owner. needed the money. well im looking for some home theater system also. i would like a laptop with at lease 60 gb and fast speed even better if had things for audio. i like audio. well i am asking if you have a home computer at lease 100gb or more. i would like at lease 1 gb ram. that is fast enough i guess. tell me what you have.

it isnt really what i have, but what i could build. i am in the process of moving right now, but in a few weeks i could build you a decent pc for $500 or less, maybe a dual core cpu with 1gb ram and a 250gb hard drive, would that work?

i do have a friend selling an amd 1800+ based pc with a 250gb hard drive, 1gb ram and an ATI 9800pro video card, but not sure what he wants for it

can you tell what exactly you are going to be putting in the tower?all the programs and things? this is going to be a home computer right? how does the tower look like? can i get alot of usb outputs and a soundblaster or better on there? i would like a dvd/cd-r burner also. i was hoping you can put in a good graphic card and video card also. i need all i can....i really like a lcd screen though. well let me know what you are putting in. thanks

it all depends on what you want to spend

$500 is a basic pc that you can be up and running, it's not going to get you an lcd and a nice gaming video card, those would be $500 by themselves

there is a thread in the misc section right now for a 7950gt card for $180 shipped i think. those retail for about $220 right now so its a good deal.

pick out whatever tower you like, i can buy it and install the components in it, personally i prefer the shuttle small form factor barebones computers

most motherboards come with 2-4 usb ports on the back and 2 usb on the board for the front panel of the case

it is going to be a few weeks until i can build it so do some research on what you need and we can go from there

I have a laptop I could probably let go for around 450, not the BEST specs ever, but I use it constantly, and it does great for me, I do audio/video editing on it.
