Thats my little brother I was there when he bought it, he is not lieing about what he paid for it and have reciept to prove it. When this listed it was like 3 weeks old and used not even a hand full of times.

I respect you a lot, so I won't get into a match here..

but.. I'm sorry to hear your brother overpaid. 30GB ipods with color screens of the same generation can be had brand new for less than $250. Brand new ipod-videos with larger screen, smaller, more attractive.. can be had for $299.99.

Good luck for your brother selling it; I'd advise, however, that he lowers his price. Not trying to be an *******.. if anything, I get the feeling your brother was ripped off by someone else, to begin with.. and he might just have to take that financial hit if he wishes to sell it.

I dont think he paid attention to much to them and I am clueless on them I am not into them and never used one etc. He bought it at our local sears. He listed it and is taking like a $30-40 loss. But he bought a new laptop that included a mp3 player with it.

We live and learn. I know i was sold a performance teknique sub for like $150 (retails for like $40 actually) when I was in High School.. we all get ripped off once in a while. The ipod your brother got, if he's describing it correctly, should be a year if not a few years old. They did away with non-color screens a year ago. Now those with color screens are considered old and sell for nothing.

For example, my color-screen, 60 gb ipod (3x as much memory) brand new would probably only yield around $250, even brand new. Your brother's is older, smaller space too... they saw him coming //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Cool, well like i said i am not into that stuff or even read up about it to learn anything.But I was just making it aware that he wasnt trying to rip anyone off. That is what he paid at the store, and posted it taking a loss. I just dont want him to get labled as a scammer or tryn to rip someone off.
