I know its not a thread for in here but most dont look in the other one. But I am looking for a CHEAP gas saver car to use to get back and forth to work in must be reliable but looks I am not really to worried about. I drive about 100 miles a day and need something that will hold up but save me on gas. I work with a asphalt company so its gona get dirty so like i said I am not too worried about the looks. ive got an 89 ponitac grand prix. 2.8l v6, 5 spd ******. body has 208k, eng has 60k, clutch has 40k. just tuned up, changed oil, changed air filter, new starter. the 2.8l engine is a tank. not the quickest, but reliable. the only problem it has is the cat converter is clogged. it needs to be replaced ($189 installed at Meineke). i dont know about up there, but here in pa, cats are manditory. if they arent up in ny, then gut the sucker out. its decent on gas, ~19-20. i paid $900 for it and put about $700 of stuff into it. ill settle for $800, cause its gotta go. email me if your interested, rfehr613@comcast.net

500 you have it listed for 400 in that thread, but honestly I am not going to drive all the way to iowa for that car, or pay 600 to have it shipped.

Jiggy that is more than I am lookn to spend for a beater car, if your interested in a gsxr 750 for partial trade I might be interested.
