Message: <blockquote data-quote="fatryan" data-source="post: 915847" data-attributes="member: 550026">ive got an 89 ponitac grand prix. 2.8l v6, 5 spd ******.  body has 208k, eng has 60k, clutch has 40k.  just tuned up, changed oil, changed air filter, new starter.  the 2.8l engine is a tank.  not the quickest, but reliable.  the only problem it has is the cat converter is clogged.  it needs to be replaced ($189 installed at Meineke).  i dont know about up there, but here in pa, cats are manditory.  if they arent up in ny, then gut the sucker out.  its decent on gas, ~19-20.  i paid $900 for it and put about $700 of stuff into it.  ill settle for $800, cause its gotta go.  email me if your interested, <a href="http://mailto:" target="_blank">rfehr613@comcast.net</a>i got pix too</blockquote>
