Why not a PDX1.1000 - should be able to easily find one for $400.

My friend is powering the same speaker you are with the PDX1000 off his trucks stock electrical and its insane.

I honestly dont think you would notice the difference.

PDX1.1000 will do 1000Wrms @ 3ohm

They are rated at 2 or 4ohms kind of like the JL

except the JL are rated from 1.5-4ohm

well i had the Pdr 1000 i think idk i mentioned it earlyer in the post and it didnt satisfy me as the 1000/1 did with same sub be4 i bought it. my voltage drops to around 12v with acc. but i have 4 awg coming in for my big 3 so hopfully it will help

You should be able to find one for that price somewhere.

Good luck dude.

And that big3 should help your voltage stay up quite a bit. Maybe get a Yellow Top also if you don't already have a decent battery.

if your actually planning on your voltage dropping to 11.5, maybe a yellow top or an intimidator and the big 3 should be on your list before the 1000/1 .... im not trying to be a dick but if you fry the amp because your voltage drops thru the floor your going to be pissed at yourself... and how about a kicker zx1500? 1500w at 2ohm 750w at 4ohm, i'd bet my left nut youll get 1000 at 3ohm and you will probably have better luck finding a zx1500 less than 400 than a jl 1000/1.... not to mention tons of power on tap if you ever change your setup
