Just watch the gain......

If you are getting the 1500 then it could do anywhere between 800- 1200Wrms at 3ohm which should be fine. Remember....the 12w7 is only rated at 750Wrms "conservatively"

ok well good cz the kicker 1500 should have plenty of power for my liking. i loved the alpine but i knew the w7 could handel more power. and now i have a amp that might be good if i get another?? will this amp work at 1.5 ohms and how much power??

yes it will work at 1.5 ohms i ran my zx1000.1's daily at 1 ohm

ok well look at what i got back from the seller when i sent him about shipping...... it says brand new and black. i got back " Dear chadbouwens7,

ok this is all I know about this...it is silver not black, it's a JL AUDIO 1000/1 +12VDC Monoblock subwoofer amplifier. This was in my sons vehicle for about 4 mos. He says it works great he removed this unit which is approx. 19 1/2 x 9" long. It looks brand new but is not. Shipping charges are $20.00 (even though I just shipped another one to someone else in Lincoln NE and it cost me $33.00) he wanted insurance up to $200.00 on it ...so I would do the same for you and just charge $20.00 but if you want ins. to cover to $200.00 I would charge an additional $4.60..JL
